The Haas Arthos hammermill available from CRJ. The stationary Arthos, formerly known as the HSZ, has been a popular secondary shredder within the hammermill sector for many years. The developers at Haas have now succeeded in adapting the static hammermill into a tracked mobile version.
Much like the stationary version, it is the ideal solution for the crushing of waste wood, green waste, oversizes after screening, shavings, moulding shavings, biomass, PVC window frames, bulky and industrial waste, PVC profiles and pipes.
The Arthos automatically ejects any foreign objects/impurities via its ballistic chute. This system has been in stationary use for several thousand operating hours at many well-known power stations and in the chipboard industry worldwide. The machine does not need to stop on order to remove the impurities. Therefore downtime is significantly minimized and costs thereby reduced!
Another highlight of the HAAS hammermill is the very simple screen exchange. Thanks to its hydraulic opening, the operator has the possibility to change the screen basket within a very short time. This allows the operator to vary the size of the output material to meet specific specs.
