CRJ Timeline

CRJ Services has seen a lot of change and growth over our 23 years. From the days of processing green waste for local authorities to the milestone of 100 active machines in our hire fleet, CRJ Services has come a long way.
 
Here are some of the key highlights.
  • 2023

     

    CRJ Services Ltd becomes an exclusive dealer for Pronar Trommels in the UK.

     

  • 2022

     

    We now have 61 employees.

     

    CRJ Services is appointed as the exclusive dealer for JENZ GmbH in the UK and Ireland.

     

    The CRJ Services stores is expanded for a second time.

     

    Andrew Clarkson joins CRJ as full-time Finance Director. 

  • 2021

     

    CRJ Services passed the milestone of 100 active machines in the hire fleet.

     

    CRJ Services is appointed as a dealer for Bruce Engineering. 

     

    The 100th HAAS TYRON is sold into the UK and Ireland. 

     

    A dedicated website for CRJ Parts is launched.

     

    1st Bruce Engineering BWB120 water bath purchased. 

     

    70th screener is purchased. 

     

  • 2020

     

    CRJ Services’ team grows to over 50 employees. 

     

    1st Morbark 3200 Wood Hog — Horizontal grinder is purchased.

     

    60th screener is purchased. 

  • 2019

     

    CRJ Services celebrates 20th year anniversary. 

     

    CRJ Services installs first HAAS static wood recycling plant at Mill Farm Recycling. 

     

    CRJ Services and Matpro Machinery formally amalgamate into a single brand. 

     

    30th slow-speed shedder is purchased. 

     

    Andrew Clarkson joins CRJ as contractual Finance Director.

    50th Screener is purchased.

     

    Matpro Machinery is appointed as the Weima machinery dealer for the UK and Ireland. 

  • 2017

     

    CRJ Services partners with Matpro Machinery.

     

    Ben McQuaid joins CRJ Services. 

     

    1st deck screener is purchased. 

  • 2016

     

    CRJ Services and Steelweld collaborate to design a tracked Eddy Current Separator. 

     

    20th Slow Speed Shredder is purchased.

  • 2014

     

    Matpro Machinery is started by Ben McQuaid.

  • 2013

     

    10th Slow Speed Shredder is purchased

     

    40th screener is purchased

    1st HAAS TYRON – Slow-speed shredder is purchased. 

     

    1st machine hired into Ireland. 

     

    The CRJ Services stores is expanded.

    30th Doppstadt screener is purchased.

     

    1st Doppstadt AK435 – High-speed shredder is purchased.

    1st Picking Station is purchased.

     

    1st Doppstadt DW3060 – Slow-speed shredder is purchased.

     

    20th Doppstadt Screener is purchased.

     

    1st Komptech trommel screener is purchased.

    1st Neusenhauser SuperScreener is purchased

     

    1st Komptech Crambo – Slow-speed shredder is purchased.

    1st Doppstadt DW2560 – Slow-speed shredder is purchased.

    1st Doppstadt SM518 trommel screen is purchased.

    Rob Symons joins CRJ Services.

     

    1st Tractor and low-loader units is purchased. 

  • 2003

     

    Crewe and Natwich Countil award CRJ with green waste processing contract, as well as a contract to store and bulk waste paper from household collections.

  • 2002

     

    1st Hire – Manchester Waste hire high-speed shredder from CRJ

     

    Macclesfield Council contract awarded to CRJ Services to process their green waste collections

  • 2001

     

    1st Doppstadt AK430 high-speed shredder is purchased.

     

    Weighbridge installed at Brook House Farm. 

  • 2000

     

    1st Shredder is purchased - Willibald MZA 2400 

     

    Congleton Council contract awarded to CRJ Services to process their green waste collections.

  • 1999

     

    CRJ Services Ltd incorporated by Lee Carter, Kevin Jones & Andrew Reed

     

    Cheshire County Council award CRJ Services with green waste processing contract.
