CRJ Service Ltd announces the sponsorship of jockey - Barry McHugh

We are delighted to announce a sponsorship deal with Barry McHugh. Barry is a flats jockey from Northern Ireland with over 20 years’ experience, racing at some of the most prestigious horse racing events in the UK and Ireland.

Barry will be showcasing the CRJ Services logo on his silks as he rides throughout the 2022/2023 season.

With over 5000 races under his belt, Barry has rode over 450 winners in his career so far with his first win coming onboard Richtee back in 2016 at York. 

When asked about his most memorable win, Barry said, “I have had a few, but one that stands out the most was a horse called Summer Stands. He was placed in a Group 1 race at Newmarket, and a week later he won the 2-year-old trophy at Redcar, which was a great day.”

Barry comments “My hopes for the future are to stay in one piece and ride as many winners as I can. I’d like to ride 1,000 winners before I retire.”
