Rob Symons


Rob Symons

Rob has over 15 years’ experience of waste management and plant hire operations.

His skills range from sales and customer service through to mechanical engineering, waste operations and logistics.

Rob has involvement in developing waste processing systems for some of the largest waste management organisations in the UK.

He has an extensive network of contacts within the waste industry and is hardworking and passionate about good customer service.

Ben McQuaid


Ben McQuaid

Ben has vast experience in the recycling and material processing equipment industry.

Ben started Matpro Machinery Ltd, an equipment dealership representing a number of world-renowned OEM brands, in 2014.

In 2016 CRJ Services Ltd acquired Matpro Machinery Ltd, and subsequently Ben now sits on the board of directors at CRJ Services Ltd, as Sales Director. 

Lee Carter


An original founder of the CRJ business, Lee and the then directors saw an opportunity for recycling equipment hire in the waste industry.

Diversifying from farming, Lee has a day to day involvement in the business, from financial management and purchasing to people management and processes.

Finance and Business Support

Ali Wennell

Business Support Manager

Ali Wennell

Drawing on over 20 years’ business experience, Ali manages the Finance Team and Health and Safety amongst other responsibilities.

Ali ensures the CRJ team and our customers’ employees stay safe when working with our recycling machinery.

She also looks after Human Resources as well as managing new projects and processes at CRJ.

Ali is well organised and passionate about CRJ, helping to keep the team on track.

Stuart Clarke

Finance Controller

Stuart joined us in June 2021 as our Finance Controller.

He currently manages the finance of equipment sales and the maintenance / servicing of our customer’s machines.

Stuart is diligent, efficient and plays a key role in helping our directors to forecast.

Therefore, if you have any queries about your invoices from an equipment purchase or machine servicing, Stuart is your first point of contact.

Lisa Gibson

Finance Manager

Lisa Gibson

Lisa comes from a financial background and is responsible for the finances of the hire and parts business streams.

She provides the management team with valuable information to help run our business. Lisa is hardworking, efficient and very good at explaining our charging to customers, and of course, helping to get invoices paid on time! 

Therefore, if you have any queries about your invoices from an equipment hire or parts sale, Lisa is your first point of contact. 

Stephen Robinson

Finance Manager

Stephen has been with CRJ since October 2019 and joined the finance team to provide maternity cover, and has since joined us in a full-time role.

Stephen is diligent and hard-working. He manages a range of functions within the finance department and has become a vital member of the team.

Beth Carter

Finance Assistant

Beth Carter

Helpful and thorough, Beth joined CRJ Services in November 2015.

Beth is responsible for all our purchase invoices and supports the team with a whole host of other admin duties.

Therefore, any invoices to CRJ should be sent to Beth at bethc@crjservices.co.uk.

Barbara Koper

Finance Assistant

Barbara joined CRJ in 2021, with 3 years of experience within the machinery industry. She has a degree in Economics and is working towards her AAT qualifications.

At CRJ Barbara assists our finance team machinery sales administration.


Mike Symons

Area Sales Manager

Mike has grown up with CRJ Services.

As a result, he has extensive knowledge of a range of recycling and material processing machinery, both from a technical and operational standpoint.

He started full-time with CRJ back in 2016 after completing a university degree.

Mike is now a key part of the sales team as an Area Sales Manager, covering the Midlands.

Damian Casey

Area Sales Manager

Damian joined CRJ Services in 2016 as the after-sales manager.

Having gradually learnt more and more about the industry, Damian later moved into a sales role in 2018.

He is now the Area Sales Manager for Ireland and Scotland.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing hurling back home in Ireland.

Key Account Manager

Paul joined the CRJ team as a Key Account Manager in 2020, with a background of around 40 years in the materials handling, processing & recycling, plant machinery hire & sales industries.

Tom McLaren

Marketing Manager

Tom McLaren

Tom joined CRJ in May 2018 and manages our marketing department. Tom has over 6 years of experience in various marketing roles, and now manages our full range of marketing activities, including strategy development, creative, implementation, and data analytics across all our channels.

Wayne Drewett

Part Sales Manager

Wayne Drewett

Wayne manages our ever-growing part sales business, sourcing quality parts and ensuring we are able to offer great value to our customers.

With a background in purchasing and stores management, Wayne is responsible for ensuring that we have the right parts at the right time at the right price.

Knowledgeable and supportive, Wayne is the main point of contact for our part sales.

Kiefer Morgan

Part Sales 

Kiefer joined CRJ in 2021 as a member of our parts department.

Working closely with our Parts Sales Manager, Keifer plays a key role in communicating with our customers regarding parts quotes and order queries.


Becky Curley

Hires Manager

Becky is our Hire Manager and is the main point of contact for our hire customers. She has extensive knowledge of our machinery and its capabilities.

Friendly and helpful, Becky coordinates our hire desk and communicates with our customers regarding extensions to hire periods, off-hires, and any other queries.

Lucy Nicklin

Hires Administrator

Lucy joined the CRJ team in 2021 as our Hires Administrator. Lucy is a friendly and diligent team member, whose organization ensures the hire desk runs smoothly. Her role involves speaking with our hire customers, arranging hire paperwork, and ensuring our customers have all they need for the duration of their hire.

Purchasing & Stores Administrator 

Rachel Savage

Rachel has been with CRJ since 2011 and has a great understanding of our internal processes and operations.

Rachel is thorough, attentive and assists the sales and hires team with admin support, ensuring all correct documentation is complete and available to relevant team members.


Brian Parker

Brian Parker

Brian’s career has been in stores management and is keeping our stores at CRJ in meticulous order.

He’s passionate about keeping our engineers stocked with the parts they need to turn our hire equipment around quickly.

Enabling us to respond quickly with any item required on customer sites.

In addition to this, he also orders some of our fast-moving parts and is working hard to get the best prices for CRJ.

Andy Whalley

Andy Whalley - Stoes Assistant

Andy is our Stores Assistant.

His main role is to issue stock out to our engineers, manage goods in and out and to help Brian to organise our ever-growing parts department.

Lesley is our Stores Assistant.

Her main role is to issue stock out to our engineers, manage goods in and out and to help organise our ever-growing parts department.

Workshop and Operations

Andrew Taylor

Operations Manager

Andrew joined CRJ as our Operations Manager in 2021, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge from his previous roles.

At CRJ Andrew heads up our operations department. Overseeing our workshop practices and health & safety policies, while striving to streamline processes and develop our service offering.

Chantelle Booth

Service Controller

Chantelle joined CRJ in 2021 as our Service Controller.

With 3 years of experience in plant hire and 6 years of agricultural experience, Chantelle brings with her a wealth of knowledge from her previous roles.

Her responsibilities include the management of our in-house and third-party engineering schedules, coordinating servicing and maintenance of our hire fleet equipment as well as arranging parts and engineers to attend breakdowns.

Terry Martin

Workshop Manager

Terry Martin

Terry is our workshop manager. There's not much Terry doesn't know about recycling and waste processing machinery. His knowledge is invaluable to CRJ and our team. He coordinates the workshop teams and operations and oversees our project work.

Ben Ravenscroft

Yard Operative

Ben Ravenscroft

Ben is based at the CRJ site.

He ensures that the site is kept in tip-top order and that machines are prepared for the workshop. 

Ben has a good sense of humour and is committed to supporting the rest of the team.

Tony Sheen

Workshop Team Leader

Tony is a skilled engineer who has been with CRJ for a number of years.

Tony has been promoted to Team Leader and is now leads a team of workshop engineers.

Dedicated and knowledgable, his main focus is to ensure our equipment moves quickly and efficiently through our workshop.

He is also responsible for looking after health and safety within his team.

Prez Jakubowski

Prez is an experienced engineer who has been with CRJ for a number of years.

He has been promoted to a Team Leader position, responsible for a team of engineers based at CRJ's HQ.

Focused and hard-working, his key role is to ensure our equipment moves quickly and efficiently through our workshop inspection/repair process in the timescales needed for our customers.

He is also responsible for looking after health and safety within his team.

Our mobile service engineers are a crucial part of our operation. They are strategically located around the country, enabling them to attend our customers sites quickly, to make sure any issues are resolved efficiently. They are equipped with a service van kitted out with tools and parts to conduct many routine checks and fixes on site, getting our customers back up and running as quickly as possible.

Our driver and operator team is imperative to the success of CRJ. They deliver and collect our equipment from around the country.

Rob, Jack and Chad are our key delivery drivers. They deliver equipment to our customer’s sites, set up the machinery and complete a full induction for customer staff. Skilled and flexible, they are often the people our customers see most often, therefore an important part of our customer facing team.

Our multi-talented shredder operators spend weeks out on the road attending customer sites to complete shredding work for them. Self-motivated with a good sense of humour, both Jon and Gary provide an exceptional green and wood waste shredding service nationwide
